Trust Central Team Administrator - 20 hours weekly (term time only + TED days)

 20 hours for Term Time Only plus 5 TED Days per year.  Scale 3 Points 5 - 6. (full time salary £19,650 - £20,043 pro rata ) Actual salary £9,084 - £9,266

This role will suit either an experienced Senior Administrator from all educational or commercial sectors, or an ambitious person with less experience wanting an opportunity to explore a career in school business management as this role is supporting the business management leaders in the Trust.  Whilst part of the role will be “back office” admin and clerical tasks, it will also involve going out into schools researching and then analysing and presenting information for business decisions.  Successful candidates will have a keen inquisitive mind and strive to provide excellence.

This position is a combination of secretarial duties and project administration.  We are looking to appoint a forward thinking, creative and highly motivated person who has the drive and passion to work with leadership on its journey to be outstanding in everything they do and to develop the Trust to 10 Schools by 2030.

Family Support Worker - 37 hours a week all year round

Please note this is not a term time only post and that it is a fixed term contract for two years subject to review.

The Family Support Worker will work directly with families, and their children in the community and the school in order to promote, strengthen and develop the potential of parents/carers and children by

  • working directly with families to help them identify and achieve positive change.
  • acting as link between school and families, and to liaise with a range of professionals to ensure that families are accessing all services available.
  • advising and support on child welfare and child protection matters and to be DSL’s source of expertise within the Trust.
  • providing support to identified pupils and their families to overcome barriers relating to attendance, learning and behaviour, allowing learners to achieve their full potential and make progress.
  • ensuring the views, wishes and feelings of children and young people are considered and reflected in the work that we do.
  • developing links with and utilise the resources of the community.
